ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Hi, I’m Jeremy. Dance has been a meaningful way for me to express myself, stay active, and connect with others from an early age. After 20 years of dancing I still enjoy learning new styles, improving my techniques, and sharing the energy and joy that dance brings. Whether I’m practicing, performing, or meeting fellow dancers, I’m always excited to grow and be part of the dance community. I hope, through DanceProfessor.com, I can further pursue that goal.Â

Carolina Shag has been one of the defining passions of my life. I developed a deep appreciation for the dance, its rich history, and the music. What began as an interest quickly grew into a lifelong commitment to learning, competing, and sharing the joy of Carolina Shag with others. Through years of dedication and hard work, I have had the opportunity to develop my skills as both a competitor and instructor while building lasting friendships within the shag community.

One of the highlights of my competitive career was winning the 2016 U.S. Non-Professional National Shag Championship with my partner, Kalin Ellis. Throughout my journey, I have always strived to honor the traditions of Carolina Shag while bringing my own style, creativity, and passion to the dance floor. Beyond competition, I enjoy teaching, mentoring, and encouraging others to discover the fun and connection that dancing provides. I remain grateful for the experiences, opportunities, and friendships that Carolina Shag has brought into my life, and I look forward to continuing to share my love for this incredible dance.
